I reached out to April, told her all my goals and that’s when she helped me figure out what was attainable and organize it into short and long term goals. However I still was a bit skeptical. She wasn’t giving me a ton of restrictions??? Let me tell you something, every call, check-in, and text I questioned her. I kept telling her “ok I’m ready for the next step, make it harder so I see drastic changes.”
Little did I know there was no next step, the everyday changes we had made were all I needed.
She helped me fuel my body, learn what made me feel my best, and even told me to EAT MORE cause I wasn’t nourishing myself enough to sustain daily life let alone my workout regimen. All I can say is thank you for dealing with stubborn me questioning everything, teaching me the science of fueling my body, and helping me get rid of toxic dieting thoughts. I love my carbs and fats, I thrive on color in my meals, and get excited to hit protein goals early. The knowledge you have equipped me with is something I will forever use daily!
You can still have desirable foods – in moderation (pizza, chocolate, ice cream - and I’m not talking about a cauliflower pizza or Halo Top)
